Some Christmas bling-bling

If you want to add some pizazz to an ordinary ornament and you are not afraid of a little glue, then this may just be the perfect Christmas craft to make.
The cast of characters: plain ornament, silicon glue (the kind that dries clear) and flat marbles. I picked a small mixed bag up for 99cents at Ben Franklin.

Then begin gluing away. I held the ornament in my left hand and put pressure on the glue with my forearm to squirt a little dollup on each glass marble.
I liked the silicon glue because I could move the marbles around a bit, however, I bet you could use a hot glue gun if you had clear glue just as well.

Once I was done, I had to wrap my ornament creation in some saran wrap to hold it in place while the glue set up. In this case, I had to wait 24 hours before hanging up because of the dry time on the glue I used.
I made a couple multi-colored and one with only clear marbles.

Taa daaa.... Just a little heads up, the glass marbles make this ornament a bit heavy, so it wouldn't work on a little Charlie Brown tree, if you know what I mean.

One of my favorite ways to display a special bling-bling ornament, such as this, is to put it on top of a glass candle stick. Love that Christmas sparkle!
