A lesson in photo-jacking

Ever heard of photo-jacking? Abby introduced us to it on our ski vacation. It is just not a term I was familiar with, but after it was explained, I can think of a few times I have been guilty of it. Photo-jacking occurs when someone purposely interferes with another persons picture just to mess it up.

We stopped for a picture break as we drove up the north shore to Grand Marais, MN on Tuesday, December 29. The weather was around 20 degrees and Lake Superior looked... well, superior!
Here is Kippy just posing away...not suspecting anything unusual.

When out of no where, Abby jacked the picture! I wasn't ready for the event either, so it was really unexpected.

It was so funny! Of course, Kippy demanded retribution....

So she jacked Abby's photo. This time, I had to do a count down, just to get the jacking in process. These girls are a riot! Been photo-jacked lately?

Never heard of it but it certainly has occurred with me more than once. Poor Reese used to try to get the Germans all lined up for a great photo and one of your uncles used to screw it up somehow. God! He used to get so discussed with them! And now it has a name :o)

Oh my favorite photo jacking is when someone you dont know is taking a picture in front of you, say like at a stadium or somehwere like that and you just lean in a bit above their heads and smile to get in their picture, LOL I love it!!!

I love learning the "official term" for something I've experienced all of my life. First with Aaron and now with Derek and Madi. These photos are priceless...I love it! Thanks Abby for educatiing us on photo-jacking.
