I am so grateful that I can arrange my vacation days to have the same days off that Steve and the girls have! We have gotten do to a lot of things together. Lots of laughs, lots of fun, and lots of food (that part isn't so good.) WARNING: I get 2 weeks of vacation so this is a long blog!
First off, we hosted Christmas at our house for the first time. Randy's family came from their farm in ND; Russ' family came from Duluth, MN; and my folks came from the ND farm. So, we had a full, fun house consisting of 8 adults and 7 kids ranging from 3 to 15 years old.
There was also a lot of gift opening... here is Logan showing his incredible punch!
Nixin was so fun to watch 'cause he had the most genuine reactions to his gifts!
Grandma Rose is showing off her incredible wii bowling skills!

One of my favorite pics is Logan celebrating (loudly) his killer win in bowling of a 283... the whole while his dad (Randy) is somehow able to sleep through it! Randy has a powerful sleep talent.
Christmas day included sledding at Roosevelt Park, making snow forts in the backyard, playing wii (American Idol was rockin'), swimming at the AmericInn and of course, lots more eating!
The girls posed, post-Christmas, with their "stashes" and are looking as spoiled as ever. The big gift was the wii, which was a family gift.
We got to have a second Christmas hosted by Steve's sister, Maribeth & Danny outside of Casselton, ND. Back row... Renae, Kippy, Steve, Maribeth, Grandma Shirley, Jason... Front row... Megan, Abby & Danny.Spent some time with our friends Lance & Denise and our godson, Brac.
I enjoyed shopping with Abby (my personal fashion consultant) in Fargo.

We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary on the 28th with a night out in Fargo, including a fabulous meal at Basies. We are working to officially add Bella to our family. Finally, we celebrated NYE at the Hubert's home last night, which was also a 40th birthday party for our friend Jim!
Next on the list... preparing for 2009!! Which I have a feeling will have a lot to do with how to remove said Christmas goodies from my bottom and hips... sigh....
