What's a flounce?

We decided that Grandma Rose needed a new apron for Mother's Day. So I made my mom an apron with a flounce so she could flounce around the kitchen. Funny thing was, my husband had never heard of a "flounce" before, so he learned something in this process as well. Apparently, Steve hasn't flounced before. :-)

Angelique picked out the fabrics for me. She thought this fabric would make the best apron for Grandma.
Abby was the model and she flounced around in our kitchen to make sure that the apron did what it was supposed to do.

Grandma Rose loved the apron.
